About the Program
Students in the Work Based Learning program have an opportunity to explore career internships and paid-employment experiences in the community. These experiences may include, but are not limited to, workplace internships, work opportunities, and volunteer experiences. The Pompton Lakes High School Work-Based Learning program allows students with paid jobs and/or unpaid internships to prepare for the world of work and earn high school elective credit. The goal of WBL is for students to continue their high school education in local work settings to apply the skills they have learned and gain work experience.
