Implementation Strategy

1.1 Nurture students’ positive values and attitudes through an inclusive and holistic approach to values education.

1.2 Establish programmes to recognize and reward students who demonstrate exemplary character and values.

• • Award conduct marks to IT student helpers who demonstrate positive attitudes in performing their duties.

  • Recognize and reward the efforts of IT Force through certificates, badges, or other forms of appreciation to motivate them and boost morale.

1.3 Enhance students’ information literacy and their ability to identify and assess the ethical and legal use of information.

• • Organize training workshops for teachers to integrate information literacy skills and ethical considerations into the regular curriculum across subjects to reinforce learning in various contexts.

  • Offer school talks or workshops on digital citizenship that address ethical and legal aspects of information use for students.

2.1 Establish environments that foster physical health and overall well-being.

• • Ensure proper ventilation, lighting, and comfortable seating arrangements in CAL room.

3.1 Provide students with a range of leadership opportunities across different school organizations and activities. 

• • Diverse the leadership roles across different teams in IT Force.

  • Provide training sessions or workshops to enhance students' leadership skills.

  • Encourage students to come up with innovative ideas and projects that they can lead within IT Force.

  • Acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of student leaders through awards, certificates, or public recognition. 

3.2 Engage students in community service and projects that promote social responsibility.

• • Encourage students to contribute their IT skills and knowledge to others.

  • Students support teachers with technology integration in classrooms, setting up and maintaining school computers, or assisting with IT-related events.

  • Emphasize the importance of ethical behavior in using technology. Discuss topics such as digital citizenship, online ethics, and the consequences of cyberbullying, hacking, or engaging in illegal activities online.

  • Explain to students how their actions in cyberspace can have national security implications.
