Safeguarding National Security
Suppliers are required to acknowledge that, regardless of any provisions to the contrary in the quotation, the School reserves the right to disqualify the company if it has engaged, is engaging, or is reasonably believed to have engaged or be engaging in any acts or activities likely to cause or constitute offences that endanger national security. The School may also exercise this right if such exclusion is deemed necessary in the interest of national security, or for the protection of the public interest of Hong Kong, including public morals, public order, or public safety.
Suppliers further acknowledge that the School may immediately terminate the contract if any of the following situations arise:
The company has engaged or is engaging in acts or activities likely to cause or constitute offences endangering national security, or otherwise contrary to the interests of national security;
The continued engagement of the company or the continued performance of the contract is considered contrary to the interests of national security; or
The School has reasonable grounds to believe that any of the above circumstances is imminent.
Compliance with Child Protection Policies
All contractors engaged by our organisation are required to comply fully with the Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Ordinance as well as all child protection policies established by Po Leung Kuk.
All contractors must ensure that the services they provide adhere strictly to the laws of Hong Kong and meet the child protection requirements set by Po Leung Kuk. Any breach of these obligations may result in immediate action by the organisation.
