Description: This is a ceramic bottle of Hawkers Plymouth Cream Sherry. The white bottle has a stamped round seal with an image of Mayflower at the base of its neck and a picture of Mayflower in 1620 in Plymouth Harbor. This bottle crossed the Atlantic on Mayflower II in 1957 inside one of the ship's "treasure chests." These chests held objects of fine British craftsmanship that would go on exhibition once they arrived in America and were part of a fundraising campaign for building Mayflower II.
