Description: This menu book belonged to Mayflower II's cook, Walter Godfrey, during the 1957 sail. It lists the meals he cooked for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day of the voyage. Breakfast items included foods such as rolled oats, eggs, bacon and baked beans, lunches included roasted lamb, tomato soup, and broiled potatoes, and dinners featured fried cod, salmon, poached eggs, lobster salad, minced carrots, and cheese biscuits, along with many other dishes for each meal. Coffee and tea were also available with every meal.
