I enjoy working as a school counselor because of the connections I make with the students and teachers. Outside of school you will see me reading books, walking my dog Batman, baking and cooking foods.
Elementary School Counselor Duties
Provide PK lessons on a specials rotation using Character Strong, Purposeful People Curriculum
Provide K-4th grade lessons once a week using Character Strong, Purposeful People Curriculum
Individual and small group counseling on Monday's and Friday's
Small groups are opportunities for students to develop skills with their peers. It is more efficient to meet the needs of students struggling with socials skills, emotions, decision making, and self-control.
