Our Mission
We have been blessed and entrusted with the responsibility to build a new facility for education to the Pleasant community both now and for future generations. Along with this responsibility of education we believe as part of the faith-based community that not only will manual labor be needed to build this structure but also the Lord Jesus Christ must plot our course. “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
The Spartan Prayer Warriors have been formed to live out the words in Proverbs 16:9, which states that our human hearts can plan a course but the Lord will establish our steps. So we are trusting that prayer will be the guiding force in planning a successful course. Our group has met and established several committees to see that prayer covers all aspects of the new facility project:
1) Groundbreaking Committee
2) 27 Months of Prayer Committee
3) Opening Ceremony Committee.
To begin, we will be collecting prayer needs from a variety of sources to create areas for a prayer walk and consistent prayer over 27 months of time. The titles for the stations of our prayer walk come from the collected categories of prayer needs and will be printed for everyone to be given a copy of these prayer needs. We would like for these printed prayer needs to be distributed at a worship service the night of the groundbreaking.
