How to Seek Help (for students): Email is the best way to reach me. I will respond to your email within 24 hours, but it will be more likely within a few hours, or sooner if that works for you.  Please sign up for my ACCESS periods on Wednesdays and Thursdays if you need additional support with concepts, test corrections, or test makeups.

How to Contact Me (for parents):  The best way to contact me is to email me at sweber@pleasantonusd.net. I will respond to your email within 24 hours, but usually sooner.  Please let me know if you would like to set up a personal meeting over Google Meet, phone, or in person.  I am always happy to interact with our parent community at AVHS to assist you and your student.

I started teaching in 2006 and have been at Amador since 2018.  I am a San Francisco State University alum with a B.A. in Sociology, and started my first career in IT, working for several start-ups and dot-com companies, eventually landing at CNET Networks for 5 years before going into teaching. Outside of the classroom, I am an avid photographer of wildlife - particularly birds and raptors (you can follow my photography on Instagram at @shawnw.photography), enjoy the outdoors, and am also a big fan of the Giants, Warriors, Sharks, and 49ers.
