What is

WorkAbility?

WorkAbility provides services and experiences leading to gainful employment to high school students with individualized education plans. Our program facilitates a successful transition to post-secondary opportunities through various instruction, counseling, guidance, and career awareness and exploration.

We provide pre-employment skills training, employment placement, and follow-up for high school students ages 16-22 in special education, who are making the transition from school to work, independent living and post-secondary education or training.

Our staff trains and teaches students skills that will help them in obtaining and retaining gainful employment in the future.

With the support of family, school, and the community, we can assist students in making a successful transition to employment, lifelong learning, and quality of life.

We would like to thank the following local businesses for their kindness, generosity, and support of our WorkAbility Program. Our students love working at these businesses!
