All About Mrs. Panech

Just as I want to learn all about you, I am excited to have you learn a little bit about me!

I am very excited to be a part of the Mohr 5th grade team! I have been actively involved in education, ranging from infant care, pre-K and TK, to elementary after-school education for over a decade. Last year, I taught first grade at Vintage Hills and I am currently completing my Masters in Teaching at St. Mary's College of California.

I grew up on the East Coast (NJ) and went to New York University for my Bachelor's. After marrying my best friend, I moved to Canada, where we added our two boys to our little family. We moved to Pleasanton ten years ago, where we were blessed with our daughter in 2015 and our adorable golden doodle in 2021.

Family: Mr. Panech and I have 3 kids - Raunak (15 @ Amador and PVA - he wants to be an astro-physicist), Ranbir (13 @ Harvest Park - he wants to be a geologist) and Naaz (8 @ Mohr! - she wants to be a teacher). We also have an adorable golden doodle, Gabru who is almost 2. Our family loves living in Pleasanton and we are always out and about in town.

Hobbies: Aside from teaching, I LOVE to cook. When I have free time, I love taking classes, learning about food history and experimenting with different ingredients. Some times the experiments work and sometimes they don't! I also love to travel and read (many times, also related to food!) When I was younger I danced and competed regularly. Unfortunately, I don't get to do it as much now, but dance remains another passion of mine. I am also an avid gym-goer and love to push my physical limits at the gym.
