About Ms. Saunders

Paige Saunders is a 5th grade teacher at Hearst Elementary School in Pleasanton California. She is in her 6th year teaching and loves to engage her students in all subjects through the use of technology and hands on projects. Her favorite thing about teaching 5th grade is exploring the history of our country and reading awesome books! She has a slight Diet Coke obsession and 2 dogs she loves that she could not live without named Arlie and Kirkland.

Miss. Saunders grew up locally and went to High School at Monte Vista in Danville before heading north to Tacoma Washington to attend the University of Puget Sound. After graduation, she returned to California and attended CSUEB for a post-baccalaureate year to complete the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program followed by the Masters in Education option in Curriculum.

She is extremely close to her family, especially her 4 siblings, and in her spare time she enjoys many different types of art, including DIY projects, drawing, and home improvement projects. She also love to read, decorate cakes and gingerbread houses, watch movies, TV and baseball.
