PUSD serves free or reduced-price nutritious meals every school day under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Student eligibility is based on federal guidelines for household income. Learn more and apply here.
INDEPENDENT STUDY CONTRACT - Changes for 2019-20
Please note that the PUSD School Board has updated it's policy for Independent Studies during the current school year. Under the new policy, the maximum number of school days that will be excused is 10 (in previous years it was 20 calendar days). Also, students are only eligible for one independent study contract per school year, and no contracts will be issued the first 20 school days of the year or the last 20 school days of the year.

Be a part of the first ever Youth Environmental Action Summit
Students are welcome to attend first Youth Environmental Action Summit of the Tri-Valley on Saturday, September 7, an event planned and created by local youth this summer. At this free event, students will meet and network with youth from all around the Tri-Valley while learning from keynote speakers including Congressman Eric Swalwell, and Scientist, Editor and Author Dan Linehan. Students will visit and experience a wide variety of info tables, breakout sessions, youth activist panel, and follow-up action teams. On Tuesday, September 3rd, First and Second grades will begin their staggered schedule. Please double check your student's assigned schedule...1st and 2nd graders will either be attending from 8:25 am - 2:05 pm or 9:10 am - 3:00 pm.
Also starting on 9/3...Third graders will begin attending all day, from 8:25 am - 3:00 pm.
On Wednesdays (late day), ALL first through fifth graders will attend from 9:25 am - 3:00 pm.

Please join us for the upcoming Donlon Fall Scholastic Book Fair & Ice Cream Social event! 50% of all Fall Book Fair sales will go directly to our Donlon teachers to purchase books for their classroom libraries. The Ice Cream Social is a complimentary community builder and a favorite event for our Donlon students as we will have some of our wonderful Donlon teachers and administrators on hand to help scoop ice cream. Families are welcome! Please come join the fun and support our school!
