INDEPENDENT STUDY CONTRACT - Changes for 2019-20
Please note that the PUSD School Board has updated its policy for Independent Studies during the current school year. Under the new policy, the maximum number of school days that will be excused is 10 (in previous years it was 20 calendar days). Also, students are only eligible for one independent study contract per school year, and no contracts will be issued the first 20 school days of the year or the last 20 school days of the year.
Please click on the Independent Study Contract Request and Procedures information for more details, and prior to making any travel plans.
We are excited to welcome everyone back to the 2019-20 school year! As you begin the process of registering your students in the Q system prior to walk-through registration, we'd like to remind you that your Personal ID Number (PIN) is your access to your student(s) PUSD online record from the time they are registered in a PUSD school until they leave the district (graduate or move out). It is also the same PIN that you will use every summer to register your student(s) for the following school year.
Each parent/guardian who enrolls a student into our district receives their own individual PIN (ie., mom and dad would each be assigned separate individual numbers to access Q). Your PIN for the Q Parent Portal is not the same number as your student's school ID number.
We wish each of our Donlon families a smooth and successful start to the new school year.
Your Donlon Front Office
Please update ALL health information in your child's registration files online. Information from your online registration is used to communicate health needs to staff and needs to be current.
Hot weather reminders: Please remember to send your student to school with plenty of water. Sun screen and hats for recess are also helpful.
Donations: If you have any GENTLY USED elastic waist shorts and pants to donate, we would appreciate them in the health office for occasional emergency use.
If you need to drop off lunch for your child, no need to come into the office! We have a drop off station set up next to the front door, with post-its and pens for you to identify your child's lunch. Campus supervisors will bring the lunches to the eating area before the start of lunch.
Is coming to Donlon September 23 - 27th! This fun-filled week of activities promotes awareness and student education about how to accept, support, and understand ourselves and others. To make this week a success, we need lots of volunteers to help with hands on student activities during Science Lab and to read to students during their library time.
