Join us on February 5 for the next PUSD community meeting
Tuesday, February 5, 6 - 7:30 p.m. l Hart Middle School MPR
All families and community members are invited to attend our next community meeting on February 5, 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Middle School Multipurpose room. PUSD Cabinet members and Board of Trustees will lead the meeting with information related to our District goals for the year, engage in some informal Q&A, and take time to connect personally with attendees. We hope to see you there!
Ed Diolazo, Mary Jude Doerpinghaus, Kathleen Rief and Doris Kwok will be hosting a Parent Coffee for Parents of Students with IEPs and 504s on February 20th from 9:30-10:30 at the District Office. Staff will provide a mid-year update and will be able to address parent questions.

Kindergarten Parents: Please remember to get your student's oral health form into the office on or before May 31, 2019. The form can be found under the Student Services tab on the PUSD website here. If you have any questions, please contact Jamie Tompkins in the health office.

PUSD is anticipating a large class next year at Hart and Amador. If incoming 6th grade Hart students are interested in attending Harvest Park or Pleasanton Middle School, or incoming 9th grade Amador students are interested in attending Foothill, please complete an open enrollment form in the next two weeks. We will accept open enrollment requests beyond the January 31st deadline. The form can be found here and can be turned in to the PUSD Student Services Office at 215 Abbie Street in Pleasanton.

OPEN HOUSE - Thursday, May 9. Food trucks will be there from 5:00 - 7:00pm and classrooms will be open from 6:00 - 7:30pm. Donlon 5th graders who are moving on to Hart MS next year are encouraged to attend!

SAFETY NEEDS!
Please be safe in our parking lots - when you leave your car, move to the nearest sidewalk rather than walking near parking spaces. Also, cross at the crosswalk and wait for the crossing guard (when on duty) - it's good modeling for our students, and it's safe!
While driving, no cell phone use, and please watch for children!
NOTE: The parking lot behind Hill and Dale preschool (at the back of the school) is ONLY used for SDC students and Hill and Dale students. Do not use this lot as a drop off area, nor a parking area.

Have you every thought about running OR WALKING a 5K, 10K, or 15K? Then join Ms. Gates on April 14th, 2019 for the PPIE Run for Education with the proceeds benefiting PPIE (Pleasanton Partnership in Education). Last year PPIE raised over $110,000 net for our schools - 100% of which went to support PUSD programs and supplemental staff at our schools. Each year, we have a friendly competition for the highest participation per school. The winning elementary school will receive a plaque AND a free ice cream social for the ENTIRE school complements of Workday! Register at www.ppierun.com today or by March 12th to get a reduced price.
