Welcome scholars! My name is Chelsea Brazil and this will be my tenth year teaching English/History at Harvest Park Middle School. Eighth grade is a pivotal year in your educational journey, and I am excited to face the challenges with you and make our classroom as engaging and innovative as possible.
I went to school in PUSD myself (graduated from Foothill High School) and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/media studies with a minor in American Indian studies at San Diego State University. I completed my teacher credentials in English and history at Cal State University, East Bay.
When I am not grading essays, I love spending time with my family and fiancee. (Two of my family members are also teachers in PUSD). Some other things I enjoy are reading, spending time outdoors, exploring new places and hanging out with my cats, Brie and Alani.
