What's an initial transcript?
This is the first transcript you will send to colleges and will have your 9th, 10th, and 11th grade final semester grades.
What's a mid-year transcript?
This is the transcript you send after the first semester of your senior year is complete.
What's a final transcript?
This is the last transcript you will send. This transcript has all final semester grades from your freshmen year through the end of your senior year. This transcript will be available shortly after you graduate.
SENDING TRANSCRIPTS via PARCHMENT
AVHS uses Parchment.com to send all official transcripts for students.
Fees are applied immediately with each order. See fee scale below:
Effective December 16th, 2025, the following transaction and shipping rates will apply:
Transaction fees: $5.00 (Alumni $10.00)
USPS Domestic: $2.95
USPS International: $6.00
FedEx Domestic Overnight: $35.00
FedEx International: $65.00
The AVHS School Profile is sent with all transcript requests through Parchment.
COMMON APP + PARCHMENT
Counselors will be uploading your Amador Valley High School transcript to your Common App. Do not send your transcript to Common App.
If you took an outside of PUSD course, you'll need to send that transcript to each school you are applying to through Parchment (and not to Common App!)
Outside course transcripts are considered official if they are received directly from the outside institution via Parchment.
You'll have to do this even if the course is added to your Amador Valley High School transcript.
For example, if you had taken two outside courses from two different outside institutions and are applying to 10 Common App schools, you'll need to send each transcript to each school which means thats 20 Parchment orders!
Sending your transcript to Common App will bump out your already uploaded Amador Valley High School transcript.
