Learn about the credit recovery options available to PUSD students

Students may need credit recovery when they do not pass courses during the regular school year. Credit recovery is for students who have earned a D or F in a course required for graduation or college eligibility.
PUSD offers two types credit recovery programs.
The High School Referral (HSR) program at Mt. SAC is a free, online, self-paced, A-G & NCAA-approved online credit recovery option. HSR allows high school students the opportunity to retake classes to earn a higher grade and make up credits by taking A-G approved courses.
Mt. SAC instructors supervise the class and provide individual instruction and support, available via Zoom Monday-Thursday from 4-8 pm. The HSR program offers three sessions per year, including summer school. Transcripts are sent to your high school once you earn a C or better

Requirements:
Enrollment opens on August 31st at www.mtsac.edu/sce/hsr
High school counselor and parental approval are required before enrollment
