SCHEDULE
8:30 Volunteers arrive
9 a.m. Registration table open with dash cards, and free coffee until it is gone
11:45 a.m. Come up to the registration table for: SkillsUSA Officer presentation, awards, and an engine salute
12:00 p.m. Volunteers clean

On-site & in person that morning.
Park every other stall

FREE for all attendees
FREE registration for vehicles
TYPES OF VEHICLES THAT CAN BE REGISTERED
This is a totally open show
Anything with an engine or motor
Completed or project cars
Any make or model
The more the better
Open to students, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, community members, companies, organizations, etc., vehicles
WHY WE HOST THIS SHOW
For the students.
To foster student interest in engines, motors, and all things vehicle-related.
The students run this car show so it provides a student organized and run event that helps develop project planning, ownership, and leadership skills.
We can celebrate and display the PLSHS SkillsUSA Chapter's yearly accomplishments to families and the community.
WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect to see all types of vehicles including classics, customs, student rides and project vehicles. Anything with two or more wheels and an engine or motor can be shown.
Our event goals:
Show & shine or Coffee & Cars style event
Free coffee while supplies last
Fun time for visitors and participants
Friendly and kid appropriate atmosphere
Celebrate vehicles
Connect with companies & industry
Provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing
Spark interest
AWARDS
A variety of student-created and judged awards will be given.
Students are busy creating them.
This event is primarily a fun, educational, and community-focused social event and showcase. We hope everyone has a great time.
SIZE
Over 200 parking spots are available for over 100 cars
FOOD
We will have free coffee for about 40 people (maybe more this year)
No food trucks
You may bring in your own food
Our students may sell some items.

PHOTOGRAPHY NOTICE
Private, public, and commercial photography is allowed
RESTRICTIONS
No alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or typically restricted items are allowed on school property
CANCELLATION PROCESS
A final decision will be made before 10 PM on the Friday before.
We will cancel if one of the following conditions is met:
Rain is forecasted above 20% possibility and greater than one inch of rainfall
Raining Saturday morning.
Friday's forecast includes any hazardous weather warnings for Saturday
Unavoidable and unpredictable logistical issues we can't fix
We will post the cancellation at the top of this website ASAP, so check back here the day before and the morning of.
PROFESSIONALISM EXPECTATION
This is a student-hosted and school-connected event. Please display a high level of behavior, professionalism, and appropriateness for our students and all guests.
Be respectful.
Set a good example for others.
Drive lawfully.
Operate stereos lawfully.
Expect a law enforcement presence.
STUDENT-LED EVENT
Please be patient and understanding with any logistical issues. This event is student-led and part of our chapter's leadership program.
