Changes will be posted on the Band App.
When is the Engineering & Robotics Club? Scroll to the top of this site. That meeting date, time, and location info will be kept as current as possible.
What do you do during Engineering & Robotics Club? It will vary from meeting to meeting. Sometimes there will be information. Often there will be an activity. The activity may vary from student to student depending on what they are trying to get done. Most of the activities involve engineering-related hardware and computer science software.
Is there a cost for membership? Not currently. If you do an outside-of-school competition, you may need to pay something, including travel costs.
Can I list it on my NHS application? Yes.
Can I be a club officer? Yes. Just ask about the opportunity in person so we can have a conversation first.
What are some other things I can do to help the club? Visit the middle schools to recruit. Mentor a HAL or other district elementary club. Attend 8th grade activity night (Titans of Tomorrow), the first day for 9th graders activity fair, and other promotional days.
Can you get "kicked out" of the club? Yes. Any individual not conforming to the PLSHS Student Handbook, Titan Way, exhibiting gracious professionalism or failing to meet daily meeting requirements will be removed from the club.
