About the Band

The Papillion-La Vista High School Monarch Band continues to maintain and build upon their tradition of excellence in concert bands, jazz bands, marching band, pep band, as soloists and in small ensembles. 200+ students are involved in the band program each year. The bands at PLHS participate in numerous community, state, and national events. Besides the performance aspect of music, students in the band also receive practice in the areas of music history, theory, and research.
