Seth Ryser
Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Seth Ryser is starting his 24th year of being on the Papillion La Vista Monarch Girls Basketball staff.   Most of that time he was the head JV basketball coach and a varsity assistant.  For the past 5 years, he has been just a Varsity Assistant.   Coach Ryser has taught at La Vista Middle School for the past 24 years.   For the first eight years, he taught 7th grade science at LVMS.  For the last 16 years, he has taught weights and physical education.   Coach Ryser has also coached football and the boy’s track at LVMS for the past 24 years.   He is currently the head coach of both of those teams.   

Coach Ryser has been happily married to his wife Erika for 22 years.   Erika is a childcare teacher in Omaha.  Erika and Seth have one son London, who is 9.
