The boys golf team at PLHS has a tradition of being competitive every year. The team consist of 10-12 players depending on the number of players that tryout. We field both a varsity team as well as a JV team. Each team will play in 9 tournaments during the season and will take 5 players to each tournament. The varsity team plays against the best competition in the state of Nebraska and also plays on some of the more difficult courses the state has to offer. 

In the offseason, players will play summer and fall events at the state level. The Nebraska Junior Golf Tour is a tour for junior golfers in the state and there are 30-40 events throughout the state of Nebraska. To get reps during the winter, we spend time in the weight room and our golf simulator at Monarch High
