HOME OF MONARCH BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Cross Country is a fall sport where athletes run a distance race across varied surfaces and terrain. Boys run 5000 meters or roughly 3.1 miles. We host The Class-of-the-Metro Meet each September at Walnut Creek near Papillion-La Vista South High School. The varsity team consists of 7 runners; the remaining runners run on the junior varsity team. No athlete is cut from the team as an unlimited number of runners can run in most meets.
