Oskar Staniucha, a dedicated strength and conditioning coach, researcher, and performance specialist, is completing his PhD project: Optimising Youth Female Athletic Performance and Injury Prevention Strategies.
With experience working alongside elite teams like the Sydney Kings, Oskar specialises in GPS tracking, data analysis, and performance monitoring. His expertise in athlete development and injury prevention has driven his passion for supporting athletes at all levels.
His PhD research at the University of New England, conducted in partnership with us, will investigate how training load affects ACL health in young female athletes and provide evidence-based strategies to enhance performance and reduce injury risk, ensuring safer and more effective training methods. He is also an accredited Exercise Scientist and ASCA Level 2 coach, as well as an active member of Wrestling Australia’s Women’s Committee!

The Strength and Conditioning program at PLC Armidale focuses on allowing girls to improve their own individual goals in 3 key areas: mindset, personal growth and performance.
Term 1 Strength and Conditioning Sessions will run every Monday afternoon 3.45pm-4.45pm, as well as Wednesday and Friday mornings from 6:30 - 7:30am in the DKC. You can sign up on the forms in the Senior School or contact Mrs Donaldson.
