About me
I am Maxine, a dual American / Dutch citizen, and a former Hong Kong Permanent Resident. I was born in Chicago, IL in November 2006. I have an older sister and a twin brother. When I was one year old I moved to Hong Kong where my family and I lived for 8 years. I started playing field hockey there at age 4. I'm a versatile player with good vision, quick skills and strong hits. I have played in a wide range of positions over the years. I am looking for a competitive academic environment. Because I lived abroad for most of my life, I am interested in finding a diverse and open-minded school and team, where I can feel at home. A good and healthy balance between sports, academics and personal life is important to me.
