I graduated college from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT with my Bachelor's Degree in Child Study and an Elementary Education certification. I then moved down to Florida to work at Walt Disney World. I worked at the Magic Kingdom in merchandise and then at the Animal Kingdom as a Wilderness Explorer Education Presenter. Working at Disney was a once in a lifetime experience that I enjoyed!

After working for Disney, I decided it was time to start my true passion in education. I taught 5th grade in Florida for my first year and then 4th grade for 3 years in Naugatuck, CT before joining the Wheeler family! This is going to be my 9th year teaching and 5th year at Wheeler.

I live at home with my fiance, along with my cat, Pepper and puppy, Moana! I enjoy playing softball in my free time and am a huge Disney fan! I have a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Saint Joseph. Recently, I just completed my 092 certification at Sacred Heart University, along with my sixth-year degree.
