West Library Book Selection Policy
Library books are due the day your child has library.
Students in Kindergarten and First Grade may take out 1 book each week. Students in Second Grade and up may select up to 2 books per week.
Library Class offers the opportunity for children to learn responsibility; taking care of belongings and returning borrowed items when they are due. Overdue notices are sent weekly as a reminder. However, students should never feel bad if they forget their book; it happens to everyone!
If your book is lost, we wait a few weeks in case it turns up. We will send a notice home with the replacement cost of the book. Please make out a check (not cash) to Plainedge Public Schools and send it back in with your child.
