Description: Girls are encouraged to set their own goals, learn skills in coping with emotional and physical challenges, while also working as a team to complete a community impact project. The decision-making and execution of the project is lead by the girls themselves, with coach support. The season ends with a big 5K celebration, usually hosted at the Santa Fe College campus! Meeting Days/Times: BOTH Tuesday & Thursday, 3:00-4:15pm. Practice will start in the K/1 Community, with exercises completed on the field/court.

Sign Up Details: Girls on the Run is a nationwide program! P.K. Yonge will host a team in the Spring, running a 10-week program from February 10th to the end of April/beginning of May. Please keep in mind that your girl must attend BOTH Tuesday and Thursday practices. The meaningful lessons and projects build upon one another as the season unfolds.

Note: Registration Fees
The registration fee ranges from $50-$130 based on household income. Discounts will automatically be applied during registration. Our actual cost per girl is more than $160, through generous donors our non-profit is able to subsidize the cost to families. If you are able, consider donating $45 to help us close the gap of cost per girl.
We will be offering a 2-payment plan this season; half when you register and the 2nd half is due Friday, February 27th, 2026. You will have the option to use this opportunity if you choose.

20 seventy-five to ninety-minute sessions conducted by certified GOTR volunteer coaches
Curriculum and lesson materials
