Student Council is the leadership organization at Parkway Central High School. With nearly 100 students involved, both elected representatives and members who join through our WYWO (Work Your Way On) program, Student Council plays a key role in building school spirit and community. Our members help plan and lead many major events throughout the year, including:
Homecoming
Day of Service
Parkway Holiday Cup
KISS Week
Prom
Student Council members meet weekly at both the class and school-wide levels to collaborate and plan these important activities.
Want to get involved? There are two options!
Student Council elections take place each May. Watch for details in the school announcements, bulletin boards, flyers, and Community Updates during the spring semester.
If you're an incoming freshman or a new student to Parkway Central, you can still join Student Council through our WYWO (Work Your Way On) program. Applications are due by August 22nd at 2:30pm.
