Peer Teaching is a district-wide character education program for juniors and seniors to teach character education and alcohol prevention to middle-school students. Another goal we have as Peer Teachers is to strengthen the Safe and Drug Free commitment within Parkway South. In the fall, each Parkway high school trains their new peer teachers at an overnight retreat at Camp Wyman in Eureka, MO designed to help increase leadership and using our values to be positive role models for the younger generations. Peer Teaching emphasizes the importance of fair and respectful treatment, responsible decision-making, integrity, and leaving our mark and our program hopes to pass these values on to our middle schools.
The Retreat for the 2019-20 school year is Thursday November 21st and Friday November 22nd 2019
