Welcome to 7th grade math!  I am excited to have you as a part of my class this year.  This is my 28th year of teaching and my 25nd at Southwest Middle.  I am a mother of three, Ben (22) Kara (19) and Melody (13).  My husband Mike and I recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary.  I earned my Bachelors in Middle School Education at Maryville University.  I have a Masters in Educational Technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

I am happy to be teaching both Math 7 and Math 8 again this year.  The notes folder in Schoology  is the best place to go for class resources.  There are videos of Desmos lessons that have been created by Parkway teachers.  These are a fantastic resource for absent students and parents that want to understand Desmos lessons.  I also post class notes and anchor charts in that folder, along with work and answer keys.
