Description: This research project aims to develop an application that helps Muslim tourists find information and plan their trips more conveniently. The application provides information on accommodations, restaurants, tourist attractions, and souvenir shops that are Muslim-friendly. It also calculates the most suitable travel routes based on the tourists' interests, taking into account 1) travel time, 2) appropriate arrival times at various locations, and 3) time for religious practices at mosques. This project promotes creative and cultural tourism, stimulates the economy, and distributes income to the community. This project is founded by Thailand Science Research and Innovation .

Description: This project involves creation of a knowledge graph from data related to historical tourism and development of a chatbot over the knowledge graph. It is a sub-project under the Artificial Intelligent Platform Development for Metaverse Historical Tourism (AI-MHT) project. The AI-MHT project is a collaboration between seven organizations, i.e., (1) Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT), (2) Thailand's National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), (3) Center of Suvarnabhumi Studies, Rangsit University, (4) Faculty of Science and Technology, Phuket Rajabhat University, (5) AI-TaSI Center, College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, (6) Multimedia Animation and Game Program, School of Informatics, Walailak University, and (7) Faculty of Science and Agricultural Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Nan. The main objectives of the AI-MHT project are arousing interest in historical tourism and boosting the communities’ economy. The AI-MHT project is founded by a total grant of 12,000,000 THB from National Research Council of Thailand.

Description: This project is a collaboration between three universities: (1) Institute of Data Science, School of Computing, National University of Singapore, (2) AI-TaSI Center, College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, and (3) Faculty of Science and Technology, Phuket Rajabhat University. It involves development of QA solutions for tourism in Thailand (extractive/conversational QA datasets and algorithms) and development of a Thai chatbot for Phuket tourism.

Description: This project belongs to the AI-TaSI Center, College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University under an umbrella project named "Digital Twin for Andaman Tourism". The main objective of this project is to develop a decision support system for hotels in the Andaman region. It involves (1) conducting aspect-based sentiment analysis, creating a knowledge graph, and mining association rules from online travel agency (OTA) data, and (2) identifying current tourism trends from text posted on social media.
