Many say that the explosion was deliberate to get rid of him. Some people are overjoyed that he is no longer alive, but many protestants are nothing but annoyed that the protestant but catholic husband of Mary Queen of scots is dead.

Oddly enough Darnley didn't show any burn marks or his manservant who died along with him. Him not showing any burn marks means that he must have went outside before the explosion happened.

In the garden of Kirk o' Fields house, where he died, is his dagger, a chair and the two naked body's. By looking at the body's they must have been strangled and choked to death. We do not know who the murderer is, but Mary Crocket says that she was lying in her bed when she heard the explosion and thought it was the house above hers so she ran to her window and saw eleven men come out of friars lane so she grabbed one, which was made of silk, and demanded to know what was going on but he made no answer.

Yesterday a horrible thing happened. We have found out Lord Darnley had been killed at 2:00 am. Kirk o' Field, and all the house was a pile of smoke and rubble.

Queen Mary was at a masked ball while Darnley was there alone with his man servant. Just after 2:00 am there was an explosion. When they got there all they saw was him and his man servant lying on the floor dead but also naked.

Some people saw it some people didn't but here is what someone said "I heard an explosion and I thought it was upstairs so i checked and i saw 11 men come out of the garden and one had a silk coat on so I asked him but there was no answer."

When he died some people were actually happy because he was mean and annoying. Some were sad because they wanted him to be King and thought he was kind. Some people were shocked he was gone because it was weird having him gone but then again people wanted him dead.

We do have some people who it could of been. It could of been Mary because their love didn't really work. It could of been Rizzio's cousin [Rizzio was killed by Darnley] because he wanted revenge. It could have been Bothwell.
