Hello, my name is Gayle Nelson and I am the nurse here at Pittsgrove Township Middle School. I graduated form Robert's Wesleyan College, in Rochester NY with my Bachelor's in Nursing. I have enjoyed working at the Inspira Hospital as a nurse for the last 18 years in the Emergency Department. I received my school nurse certification through Rutger's University. I started as a substitute with Pittsgrove Schools in 2008 and became the full time nurse in 2016.
Along with being a full time nurse, I am a full time wife and mother of three children. When not here at the school, I am usually running to a soccer game or practice. I enjoying watching my children and their teams play, and enjoy sitting back drinking my coffee and trying to relax.
I believe I have been placed here at PTMS to help not only my own children but yours as they try to navigate through the trying years of middle school. I am here to help support each child as they grow and develop into the young adult they are meant to become. I am excited to meet the new students and teachers that will be part of the PTMS family this year.
