Books weeded from library circulation are available to the Pittsfield community on a first come, first serve basis. Books are weeded for various reasons, like going 10 or more years without circulating, physical damages, or irrelevant subject matter. 

If you are enquiring after a specific title or would like to see a list of weeded copies, contact Miss Carr at acarr@sau51.org. You are welcome to dig through the Free Books cart at any point.
