Reid Middle School

Reid Middle School (RMS) is a 6-8 school located in Pittsfield in Berkshire County. It is one of two middle schools in the Pittsfield Public Schools. Approximately 550 students attend Reid Middle School. The population consists of 57.8% economically disadvantaged, 25.8% students with disabilities and 2.2% English Language Learners.


By incorporating best practices that address the academic needs and social/emotional needs of our students, and by empowering students with the tools they need to express themselves to audiences and work collaboratively, Reid Middle School is uniquely qualified to continue to meet the challenging needs of our middle school students and their families with great success.
