Homework

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Mrs. Harrington (email: klharrington@pittsfield.net) and I have both decided that we will not be giving homework on a nightly basis this year. However, there may be times during the year where homework will be assigned in either class, so you can check in here to confirm whether math homework has been given or not.

Suggested Nightly Homework for Chapter 12:

Practice converting from pounds to ounces, or tons to pounds (1 ton = 2,000 pounds and 1 pound = 16 ounces)

Practice converting from yards to feet and feet to inches (1 yard = 3 feet and 1 foot = 12 inches)

Look for as many different units of measurement as possible at home and list them based on type of measurement (length, weight, mass, liquid volume) and measurement system (customary = USA and Metric = most other countries)
