A message to all students and families (originally sent on Powerschool on March 13). The attached schedule can be found below:

My name is Miss McLaughlin, and I will be your fourth grade Math and Science teacher. I grew up here in Pittsfield with my parents and my brother and sister before going off to college at Westfield State University. Growing up, I liked all subjects in school but I liked Social Studies the best. I also had some fabulous Math and Science teachers who helped me to grow a love for those subjects along the way. Outside of school I played all kinds of sports, from Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, and Lacrosse, to Nordic Skiing! I've even had a bunch of different pets in my life: cats, hamsters, hermit crabs, fish, lizards, and a gerbil. Last year I adopted a kitten who I named Bubbles! Another interesting fact about me is that I've been to different countries. I have traveled to Canada, Bermuda, Italy, Greece, and Nicaragua, and I hope to travel to many more places in the future. These are just a few facts you will learn about me this year, and I look forward to everything I will learn about you!
