The Library will celebrate a Merry Grinchmas this year. Look for a Christmas Tree template to come home soon. Have fun with your family decorating a tree! All trees will be displayed in the library but will go home before the Christmas break.

Kindergarten, first and second will be enjoying seasonal books about Thanksgiving and Christmas

Third, fourth and fifth will be learning about encyclopedias and other electronic resources available to us as well as enjoying seasonal reading.
Circulation Policy:
Kindergarten checks out one book at a time.
First grade and Second Grade checks out two books at a time.
Third through eighth grade checks out three books at t time.
Students must return previously checked out books to get new books.
A note was sent out in communications folders the first week of school with each class' library day. Books can be kept for two weeks, and renewed if needed. We do not charge overdue fines, but ask that books are returned promptly so that we can all enjoy them.
September Library Program: AJ Drake from Historic Bath Historic Site presented a program about the Indigenous inhabitants who were in NC prior to colonization by Europeans. We examined artifacts including pottery shards and arrowheads. Students used what they learned to create pinch pots decorated with natural objects. Fourth and Eighth grades participated.
