Hello Parents, Relatives, Friends, and Family members. I'm so thrilled to be working with your child this year. This year will be my third year teaching and my first year teaching second grade. I graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with my Bachelors degree in psychology. From there I received my Masters degree in rehabilitation counseling from Winston Salem State University. I attended East Carolina University to receive my elementary licensure. I became an educator so that I can teach children and make a difference in their lives. I want to build relationships with my students and help them to be the very best versions of themselves.

I have been married to my husband Joseph Ratte for almost one year. No kids yet but we hope to have a few of them in the future. I was born in Jacksonville NC and i'm an only child. I'm a proud military brat (Marines) and former Army wife! I enjoy reading, shopping, having fun with all my family and friends, and teaching my amazing students!
