Open House

Open House: Both Virtual and Drive-Thru Options-August 13th

Virtual Open House information will be shared electronically with recorded videos from your child’s teachers and school staff. Teachers can link a Google Slideshow, Bitmoji Classroom, Youtube video, or online presentation to go live at 4:30pm on Aug. 13th.

Drive-Thru Open House from 4:30-6:30pm on August 13th.

1. 2. 1. We will be conducting a Drive-Thru Open House so that your child can meet their teacher face-to-face. Each grade level will have their own car outside.

      2. You will drive up to your child’s grade level car and the appropriate teacher will bring you a surprise! No need to even get out of your car.

Students in grades K-1st will go through the back parking lot near the playground/bus line and students in grades 2nd - 5th will go through the front car rider line across from ECU football stadium.

We ask for each family to attend Open House at an assigned time, based on the first letter of your child’s last name:

A-G: 4:30-5:00 H-L: 5:00-5:30 M-S: 5:30-6:00 T-Z: 6:00-6:30

This may not work for everyone. If you cannot come at your assigned time, it’s ok. If you have children with differing last names, you can choose one of the timeslots.

KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS ONLY: Since our kindergarteners are new to school we would like to offer our Kindergarten families the opportunity to see your classrooms. Kindergarten teachers will be contacting all families that have enrolled a Kindergarten student to schedule a time for a school tour during the week of August 10-14th. If you do not schedule a time, you will not be able to tour the classroom. Walk-in’s will not be accepted. If you do not receive a phone call you can call the office at (252) 756-0180 or email Mrs. Ratcliffe at ratclift@pitt.k12.nc.us. We will only allow parents/guardians (limit of 2 adults, no additional children) in with their child at a time. Masks are also required.
