COach Laney History class

Welcome to Social Studies. My name is Bryan Laney. I am beyond excited for the new school year. I expect great things for this year. I  graduated from ECU with my Bachelors of Science in History Education, and a Bachelors of Arts in History. This is my 9th year teaching, and my fifth year at Farmville Central High School. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps as a rifleman in the infantry, from 2005 to 2011. I was deployed to Al Ramadi, Iraq in 2007, and then to Southern Helmand, Afghanistan in 2009. I have traveled the world and hope to use all my experiences to enhance my classroom learning environment. My wife, Christy, is a FACs teacher at Fike High School. I am an assistant football coach for the Farmville Central Jaguars: Head JV Football coach, head JV Baseball coach, and head coach of flag football.
