Eligibility

In order to tryout for an athletic team at C.M. Eppes Middle School each student athlete must meet the eligibility requirements.

2022-2023 Eligibility Requirements

1. UPDATED COVID-19 GRADING POLICY: Must pass 3 out of 4 core classes during the previous semester.

2. UPDATED COVID-19 ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance requirement is waived.

3. Cannot turn 15 on or before August 31st of the current school year.

4. Must have a current physical completed on the NCHSAA physical form on file with the Athletic Department.

5. Completion of the following required forms:

   1. Athletic Participation

   2. Athletic Pledge

   3. Concussion Statement

6. All students entering the 6th grade for the first time are eligible for the first semester of their 6th grade year. 6th grade students are able to participate in all sports EXCEPT football.
