Note: During the fall '26 term, facilitated sessions, play workshops, and art cart lending are NOT available. However, faculty with small class sizes (for groups less than 20) are welcome to reserve the room directly for your own class visit. To reserve, email Kelly and CC Veena with your requested date and time. We will resume play workshops the week of November 30, 2026 through end of semester, and into Spring '2027.
If this is your first visit, take two minutes to watch our orientation video before you arrive — it'll walk you through the space and how to leave it ready for whoever's using it next.
Just bring your Pitt ID to swap for the space key, and you'll get your ID back when you return it after your session.
Our hope is that your class feels free to engage playfully — wander the space, look through the shelves, and explore materials as they meet your needs. When you're done, we ask that you put things away and leave the space the way you found it. Everything stays in the room, since keeping our materials intact means we can continue serving the whole SOE community.
We invite and encourage you to share what your class creates! Post to our Padlet with your class code (e.g., TLL 2405) along with what you made and why — it's how our community keeps growing and inspiring others.
