ANKUR has been a continuous presence at the University of Pittsburgh since the first Indian graduate students arrived on campus. The organization has been passed down from generation to generation, with each new group of students adding their own unique contributions and traditions. It was formed to help and support indian students who are landing at US for graduate studies at Pitt, for conducting cultural activities and many such, that make them feel at home away from home.
ANKUR has a long and rich history of promoting international understanding and goodwill between Indian and American cultures. The organization has organized a variety of cultural events and programs, such as Diwali celebration, Holi, and Indian film screenings. ANKUR has also provided support and resources to Indian students, such as academic advising, career counseling, and help with the move to Pittsburgh and so much more.
ANKUR is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for Indian students at the University of Pittsburgh. The organization is dedicated to promoting international understanding and goodwill between Indian and American cultures.
