This year marks my third year as the Saigling Stallion PACE Specialist and my 14th year in education. If you happen to walk into my room between classes... you may catch me belting the Broadway station. I am proud to be a thespian!
This year marks my third year as the Saigling Stallion PACE Specialist and my 14th year in education. If you happen to walk into my room between classes... you may catch me belting the Broadway station. I am proud to be a thespian!
Being from Kansas, I believe “There’s no place like home!” When I am not at school, you can find me at home with my family. After getting married in 2008, I was blessed with a daughter, Kambryn, in 2012. At the age of 2, Kambryn convinced us that she needed a kitty, so in 2014, we welcomed two feline children, Keiko and Karma. In April of 2016, our family was completed with the birth of my second daughter, Kylan. My family of Ks keep me busy! We enjoy spending time outdoors, family movie nights, traveling to visit family, and in the summer we live for time at the beach!

Prior to graduation from Missouri State University, I moved to Texas in 2004 to complete my student teaching at Carlisle Elementary. My teaching career began in March of that year as a second grade teacher at Andrews Elementary. My first classroom was located in the bathroom area! Later, I found a home as the First Grade Team Leader at Christie Elementary. My love of literacy opened the door to my next adventure as a Literacy Instructional Coach for grades 2-5. My passion for teaching gifted learners was realized early in my career. I knew that eventually I wanted to dive into the world of PACE. Now that I am here, I may never leave!
