Hi everyone! I’m Devi Priya Jain, and this year I get to be your AP Calculus AB or Statistics teacher (or both, if you’re extra lucky 😊). I’ve also taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry, AP Statistics—and last year, I ran the Chess Club, so yes, I’m totally okay with a good brain challenge.

Before teaching high school math, I worked at Microsoft, earned a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, and even taught elementary school for a year—so I’ve seen all the math struggles (and victories!) from age 5 to 18. I’m also trained in Gifted & Talented learning, AP courses, Project-Based Learning, and TI-Nspire tech, which means I like mixing creativity with problem-solving.

Outside of school, you’ll probably find me playing my Carnatic flute, reading a good book, doing yoga, or just hanging out with my family. Oh—and if you ever want to compare strategies, I might take you up on a chess match.
