Hello! My name is Jessica Spiel, and this is my fifth year as the ESL (English Second Language) Specialist at McCall Elementary.  This is my 13th year at McCall, and it has truly been a dream come true to be a part of the McCall family all these years.

I became a certified teacher to fulfill my passion for working with children. I am excited about exploring many wonderful learning opportunities with my ESL students!  I have always enjoyed learning about new cultures and celebrating diversity in my classroom. I love when my students share stories, traditions, knowledge, and language from their own culture.

My top priority is to help all students feel welcome at McCall Elementary. My most important goal in my classroom is to create a family of learners who show kindness and respect for one another. We will celebrate our achievements and struggles, support and encourage each other, and always keep trying, so that we may reach our full potential. I can't wait to start this year with your child. This is where my heart is, and there is truly no place like McCall!
