Mrs. Bryan

Hello All!

I am Julie Bryan, and I am Haggard's Drama, Speech, Debate, and Film teacher.

I am married to my best friend. We have been together for four years, and each year is better than the last. He is my creative guru who helps me accomplish my most out of the box ideas. He is an avid volunteer for my department, and also a wiz behind the camera for video of our productions.

I am working in Plano to be closer to them.

I may not have any children of my own yet, but that leaves all that space in my heart to love my students.

I LOVE FILM

I own a small local production company with my husband and my brother. Every year we travel down to Corpus Christi and compete in the Corpus Christi 7 Day Film Festival. It is my goal to begin a strong and thriving film department at Haggard, and in the rest of Plano ISD.

I am a huge nerd, and very proud of it. I like Doctor Who, DC, Marvel, Firefly, Star Trek, Star Wars, and so much more. I collect Pop Vinyls!

I spend my spare time cooking with my dad, doing yoga, or catching up on my favorite shows.

I love what I do for a living, and try my hardest to enjoy every moment. To be present in the talent that is displayed in front of me and to always be grateful for where I am.

Thank you to all my Haggard students, parent, and staff for accepting me as your new theatre teacher. I promise to always give my very best and to be there for my students every moment of the day.
