Hello! My name is Brittany Dean and I teach first grade here at Christie Elementary. I grew up here in Plano, Texas and attended Christie myself when I was a kid! 

I graduated from Texas State University with a Master's degree in Elementary Education and have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. This will be my 9th year teaching. 

When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family, friends, and dog. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, traveling, and playing board games. I'm looking forward to meeting you and having a great school year together. It's going to be a fun year full of learning and growing!
